Am currently in Kenya.....and was hoping to submit both paper and video documentary of the CM4K participatory community-based learning/research approach) to the conference but we are experiencing industrial action at the Rongo Uni (but is Kenya wide) and electricity rationing (also Kenya wide). Am hoping there will be an extension or I am likely now to miss this deadline :-(

Internet access is severely limited due to above.

This is getting pretty close to the due date for proposals but we are very interested in convening a workshop at the Communities and Technologies Conference this summer in Troyes, France. It would be a follow-up to our successful workshop in the 2015 workshop at C&T in Limerick, Ireland. Also, as many of you know, that is where our project to develop a special issue of AI & Society came from. (This is still in work — but almost ready!) At any rate, it may also be possible to get a publishing opportunity based on the workshop.

If you'd like to help out or if you have ideas please let us know!
