Nathan is the programmer behind the version we're now using!] Good to hear from you. The first meeting went fairly well. We seemed to adjourn rather quickly — but the system allowed us to do what the participants decided! We didn't take any notes but we need to make sure we do in the future. There were a couple of things that we thought weren't intuitive but we got through them. We'll probably remember as soon as we try it again. I hope that the cluster will start testing it on their own very soon. We probably need to agree on a plan of sorts. The issues I can think of right now include: When a person registers their interest in using the system, it's not clear where or if the request goes anywhere. What should it do and is it doing that? It would be nice to get rid of meetings that the administrator doesn't think should be convened or that were accidentally created—like I just did. (But perhaps there should be a "super administrator" and a special console that lets him or her access administrative functions.) We need a way to produce the minutes from the transcript. Also, when the meeting has been adjourned we apparently can't see it any more? At some point I suspect that (as I've mentioned before) after the URL becomes more public we're going to have lots of "users" that we really don't want (or aren't ready for at the moment). I don't think we've figured out how to deal with that yet. Should we Skype on Sunday? Conceivably we could also have "guests" attend if that makes sense and the students are available?
