Results from SCNA Election

As {former} SCNA secretary I am happy to announce the
results of the board election at the first annual meeting
of the Seattle Community Network Association.

Congratulations to the following people who were elected to the Seattle
Community Network Association Board.

3 year terms

Randy Groves
Aki Namioka
Doug Schuler

2 year terms
------------
Nancy Kunitsugu
Lorraine Pozzi
Tom Sparks

1 year term
-----------
Stefani Banerian
Carlos Cruz
James Russell

These nine people will be choosing up to six additional
special board members and will be electing officers (a 
president, secretary, and treasurer).

The transition from a CPSR project to an independent SCNA
organization and from a Coordinating Council governed organization
to a board of directors governed organization will probably
be the most important near term tasks.

This a new beginning for all of us!
