   What I found in a quick search on www.microsoft.com this
afternoon was this. If the direction of the Phinney discussion
includes something else, maybe someone could point it out.

   There's also a MS grant form for community groups, which 
seems to encompass a wide range of possibilities.

   By the way, I belatedly added an announcement today to the 
SCN home page about this evening's presentation by Peter Royce 
of the Vancouver Community Net, having finally found the (paper) 
flyer for it.
