Dear Collegues,

I am emailing to let you know about the Third Community Networking /
Networking Communities Conference to be held Friday 27 and Saturday 28
February 1998.  At the Victoria University of Technology St. Albans Campus
Melbourne Australia.

The conference is a must for anyone interested in in enriching communities
through accessible electronic networking.

The conference aims to bring together a diverse range of people involved in
electronic networking to learn about practical and theoretical issues in
electronic networking; to establish an on-going coordinating structure
within Australia for community electronic networking.

A preliminary program for the conference is now available and promises to
be a challenging program with well known speakers such as Dale Spender,
Julia Scholfield and Randy Stoecker.  Plus many opportunities for people
from grass roots organisations to share their experiences.  To find out
