Telecommunities Canada
Press Release September 2, 1999
A Canadian alternative to "HotMail"
The two million plus Canadians who are relying on the problem plagued US
"HotMail" service and its clones are missing out on a community based
Canadian alternative.
Telecommunities Canada (TC), the non-profit society that supports Canadian
Community Networks and Industry Canada Community Access Program sites
offers a national service which links the individual community network
e-mail accounts together so that they may be accessed from anywhere on the
Internet.
-- The patrons of any public access site in Canada can have an e-mail
account
that clearly identifies their own home community.
-- For any community access site that does not have their own server, TC
will
house the e-mail for their patrons on TC regional servers.
