But they can delete files. (And the biggest offenders also can compress
files.) They don't need a system administrator's help on that, do they?
And yes, there are other possible "solutions", like throwing more disk
space at the problem, but I like this one because it is the "sort it out
yourselves" approach recommended by the Board.

I PRESENTED A PLAN!!
It matters not how well Operations plans and self-organizes and
coordinates--without the support of the Board it all falls apart if
anyone opposes it.
As the Board didn't like what I proposed, let the Board come up with a
better plan.
