Although we of course much prefer you to PHYSICALLY 
attend the symposium you will have a chance to attend VIRTUALLY.
If you want to watch some of the symposium (and if the
technology works) you can check into  
http://www.dds.nl/~hksteen this weekend.  The symposium
(including the Bill Joy et al panel) will be streamed
from a Dutch cable tv / internet site.
