Telecommunications Network Specialist
Part-time Position Available

Tualatin Valley Community Access (TVCA), a nonprofit community media center,
seeks a people-oriented part-time Telecommunications Network Specialist. The
Telecommunications Network Specialist will administer local and wide area
networks; provide support, training and troubleshooting assistance; and
establish
and maintain World Wide Web activities. This position will work as a staff
team
member to research and implement a variety of interactive and multi-media
applications. TVCA offers a friendly, team-oriented work environment. Pay
starts at
approximately $15.00/hour.

Position requires the following:

* In-depth understanding of computer hardware, software and network systems;
* Knowledge of telecommunications including data, voice and video;
* Experience working with databases and data management;
* Experience training individuals and groups;
* Knowledge of ISDN and multi-media systems desired;
* Experience with video conferencing desirable.
