equipment awards from Apple.  Congratulations!

The RECA Foundation just received word that we are among the winners
of this year's equipment awards from the Apple Computer, Inc./CTCNet
partnership program.  

There are now over 150 affiliate members of CTCNet - Community
Technology Centers around the world.  See www.ctcnet.org for more
information.

The award includes five Power Macs, software, a scanner, and a digital
video camera.  The RECA Foundation partnered with the Washington State
Migrant Council and will establish a Community Technology Center in the
Pasco location [5th and Court].  Representatives from both
organizations will travel to Pittsburg, Pa in mid-June to receive two
days of training by Apple Computer and take ownership of the
equipment.  Following the training, is the annual all affiliates
meeting for CTCNet.
