I have taught Seniors at the Southeast Sr. Center for quite a while -- not
doing it now do to directorial reasons at the center, but, it was a HOOT!
I started at the beginning, such as 'how to turn on the computer & safely
off again.' covered all kinds of stuff and reassured all that they were
not stupid, dumb, lame-brained or all the other things they were thinking
they were. I would love to do it again.
Now that I am actively UNEMPLOYED, I have some free time (I'm supposed to
be looking for a job, but haven't gotten around to it yet).
The students love these classes, but my experience was that the
muckety-mucks at the Centers were less than gracious.
So there!
